In 2017, I joined a CrossFit gym to get a good workout and relieve some stress. Soon, I formed deep friendships, and our conversations shifted to more meaningful topics like life, parenting, and work. I found that many people in the gym came to me for advice, and I often pointed them to Biblical wisdom.

It became evident that they were striving to improve their lives but lacked the guidance to do so, and many had never encountered Scripture in a way that was both practical and understandable. I discovered how much I loved sharing the message of Jesus in ways that resonated with others.

In 2023, a message from a preacher deeply impacted me: “Every community deserves a life-giving church.” This challenge stirred my heart, and after sharing it with my wife, we began praying about how God could use us to make this vision a reality. Our prayers led us to Charles Town, a rapidly growing city filled with young families seeking hope and guidance.

We believe the best place to find that hope is in the church, where people can experience the “more to your story” that Jesus offers.

Charles Town is a rapidly growing city just outside the Washington, DC metro area. Charles Town is known for its rich history, authenticity, beautiful scenery, and outdoor adventures! Since the 2020 census, Charles Town has experienced a 23.41% growth rate. Many families are relocating here to appreciate the small-town atmosphere while working in the bustling areas surrounding this great city.

Starting a healthy church takes funding and we need your help because Anthology Church will not succeed without the financial support of churches who are committed to seeking and saving the lost. We are currently 100% dependent on outside giving until we begin regular services.
